Program Outline Onboarding

12 months.
8 pillars.
One direction.

reMYnd is a structured, science-backed lifestyle intervention built on the 8 domains shown to reduce dementia risk in midlife. This page is your map — explore each pillar, understand how your year is structured, and know exactly what's coming.

How Your Year Works

Multi-Domain by Design

reMYnd doesn't focus on one thing. The evidence is clear: targeting multiple risk factors simultaneously produces greater cognitive protection than any single intervention alone. Each month has a theme — but all 8 pillars are active throughout the year. Your focus months go deep. Every other month maintains and builds.

The 8 Pillars

1
EX
Pillar 01 Focus: Months 2, 3 & 10
Exercise
No single intervention matches exercise for breadth of effect on brain health, cardiovascular function, metabolic health, sleep quality, and mood.
Aerobic HIIT Strength Power Balance & Agility Dual-Tasking
2
NUT
Pillar 02 Focus: Month 4
Nutrition
A flexible Mediterranean-inspired approach focused on protein adequacy, whole foods, and sustainable patterns — no rigid rules or diet dogma.
Protein adequacy Dietary patterns Metabolic health Practical strategies
3
SLP
Pillar 03 Focus: Month 9
Sleep
Sleep clears amyloid via the glymphatic system, consolidates memory, and restores metabolic function — consistently poor sleep is one of the most modifiable dementia risk factors in midlife.
Sleep architecture Circadian rhythm Recovery quality Sleep hygiene
4
STR
Pillar 04 Focus: Month 8
Stress Management
Chronic stress accelerates brain ageing through cortisol-driven hippocampal damage, inflammatory pathways, and disrupted sleep — Month 8 focuses on managing cumulative load without retreating from life.
Load management Nervous system regulation Resilience strategies Recovery balance
5
COG
Pillar 05 Focus: Month 6
Cognitive Training & Stimulation
Building cognitive reserve through novel learning, memory practice, executive function tasks, and dual-tasking — reserve creates the gap between brain pathology and clinical symptoms.
Novel learning Working memory Processing speed Executive function Dual-tasking
6
SEN
Pillar 06 Integrated throughout
Sensory Health
Untreated hearing loss is one of the largest modifiable risk factors for dementia in midlife — larger than smoking, physical inactivity, or hypertension in isolation.
Hearing health Vision health Sensory screening Practical access
7
CON
Pillar 07 Focus: Month 5
Connection
Social isolation is a significant independent risk factor for cognitive decline — strong social connection demands language, theory of mind, emotional regulation, and executive function simultaneously.
Social engagement Relationship quality Community Loneliness reduction
8
MEA
Pillar 08 Integrated throughout
Meaning & Purpose
A strong sense of purpose is associated with reduced Alzheimer's pathology, better cognitive function, and lower all-cause mortality — this pillar provides the motivational architecture that holds the other seven together.
Purpose clarity Values alignment Engagement Psychological wellbeing

What to Expect Each Month

Weekly Rhythm

Week 1 — Foundation content and orientation. Week 2 — Deepen and apply. Week 3 — Individual cognitive challenge. Week 4 — Group challenge and monthly review. Each week builds on the last without overwhelming.

You complete a validated physical and cognitive assessment battery at Month 1, then repeat it at Months 3, 6, 9, and 12. These track your real-world change — and they're the same tools used in clinical research.

Live Calls

Each month includes a live group call with Naomi. These are not webinars — they're Q&A sessions where you bring your questions and get real answers grounded in current evidence. Replays are always available if you can't attend live.

Your Starting Point

Month 1 unlocks in 7 days.

Use this week to explore the platform, read through the pillar pages, and prepare for your baseline assessments. Month 1 becomes available exactly 7 days after you sign up — that's when you'll set your baselines, choose your stream, and work through your Day 1 actions across each pillar.

reMYnd is a prevention program, not a clinical treatment. If you have an existing medical condition, speak with your doctor before increasing exercise intensity. All content is supervised within the program — bring questions to your live call. © reMYnd by Naomi Ferstera — remynd.com.au
